The Holistic Grooming Academy

The Consumers Contract Act 2013 states that you have 14-days to cancel your order from the date you make your deposit. Please send us an e-mail to let us know you wish to cancel to [email protected].

Unfortunately, as per the Consumers Contract Act 2013, you will not be eligible for a refund if you request to cancel 14-days after you have made your payment. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. In this instance, you will still be legally bound to pay the remaining course fees as per the contract you agreed to upon registering with the HGA otherwise, we may have to transfer your account to a debt recovery department for collection.

In some instances, The Holistic Grooming Academy may be able to delay your registration for one year at their discretion. However, we cannot lock in the price of the course at the time of paying your deposit. This means you may have to pay more to enrol onto the course at a future date. If you wish to postpone your studies, you must request this immediately and before your 14-day-cool off period expires, in writing to: [email protected].

The Diploma is a combination of theory (essay-structured assignments) and practical demonstrations (pre-recorded and sent). Students should be confident in carrying out their own research into topics covered, and be able to clearly demonstrate their understanding of concepts through their written and practical work. All course material is in ENGLISH, therefore our students must be fluent in English to take this course.

Students will need access to the internet, a phone or camera with video features, a word processing software such as Pages (Apple) or Word Processor (Microsoft). Students should also have access to a desktop (computer), iPad and/or phone with internet features, and they should also have an e-mail address for correspondence.

The course is the equivalent to 260 hours of study over a 10-month period. We advise our students to designate one-two days of study each week for the best results. We encourage students to try and complete one unit per month. There are 10 units in total to complete.

No - your certification lasts three years before it needs to be renewed via a refresher course and exam/assessment. This will not be as expensive as the Diploma but is mandatory should you wish to remain 'Certified in Holistic Grooming' with The Holistic Grooming Academy. This is because the course will need updated to reflect advancements in science.
